Simple having a wonderful christmas time

All my shopping is done.....well minus one quick stop at a store in Racine when I get home....and the end is in sight!!

3 done and two more to go! Unfortutnaly my focus is ANYWHERE but on my IS301 exam or my history paper I have to write for saturday....it's on Christmas!!!!!!!!!

All I want to do is wrap up my presents ,sing christmas songs, watch black and white christmas movies, and drive around to look at all the christmas lights!!

Thanks to the calendar this year..I'll actually have a few days (3 whole days!) to do all that between getting home from finals and christmas Eve! Unlike some other years.....

I'm currently setting up plans for next semester; and things are looking pretty nice from where I'm sitting!

With no classes on Monday's, I'll be jumping on the bus and spending the day at Wright Middle School on the south side, tutoring in Math.

Tuesdays through Thursdays I'll be doing the whole 12-credit-i'm-almost-done-with-college deal, Followed up nicely with 3 day weekends.

and yes...Witte desk will be in there, finishing up Campus Campaigning for TFA, and then getting ready for the Big Move in May.

Last year

After my presentation last wednesday I went on a small vacation from reality. I haven't touched anything due in the next two weeks, and finals still feel like they won't start next week. So, to avoid facing any of my looming projects, papers, exams- this weekend I went out a lot, including a trip to Milwaukee to do a pub crawl.

Extremely fun.

But the cherry on top of it all was that I watched an entire season of Queer as Folk. I got the third season on Wednesday, and by 2am last night, 14- hour long episodes were under mine and my roommates belt.

We have an addiction.

Last night i had a dream that I was talking to Brian Kinney, and asked him to stop being gay for me. He was flattered, but told me he doesn't do girls. I woke up heart broken.

Today I rejoin mankind, but it has been a painful re-entry into reality.

I've been working on this ed pol presentation for what seems like forever, and tomorrow it will finallllly be over! Not sure how this 30 minute monstrosity is going to go down, but with some sweeet contacts (aka minister of education in guate)...(thank you aiesec!) I think it should go fine.

I think I'll be heading down to Genna's after for a little happy hour and hors d'oeuvres...
