    blueberry Monday

Its Monday morning and I was up by 8am. Yup there is something wrong with me. Maybe it was due to the fact that I couldn't sleep because i've had this burning question on my mind... a question i've discussed deeply with my closest friends, but still it keeps coming up in my mind...

Would you rather give up cheese or chocolate for life?

ok. so thats mos deff not the reason i couldn't sleep. But it's deff a question to ponder about for awhile during classes today...

And yes random stranger, we do call it Raytown

Shout out to the random guy from stevens point who heard I am from good ol Racine, Wisconsin. After him asking me if I REALLY was from Racine, he preceded to look at me with shock and horror. " I just can't believe you've lived there" and "I've heard some crazy shit about that place" were just a few of the comments that came out of his mouth. It was just when i was smiling and chuckling, and saying...really its not that bad- when he whipped out a story about some guy that was just sitting in his car when someone smashed in the window and stabbed him to death. wow. how do you respond to that- well i just smiled again and said, i dont know man, i never heard that. The awkward conversation was just about done i thought after him asking me if i was afraid to drive my car at night, when he put the cherry on top of it all with.. "Don't they call it Raytown??"

Yes random stranger from stevens point, we do call it Raytown.

    JUMP

i've decided that jumping is the best way to go. Jump off a swing, jump off a diving board, and yes.... take the plunge in life. Do what others think is crazy, think in the moment, think about RIGHT now. yep i said it. take the fuck'n plunge.

Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes...

So yesterday i got hot walking to class with a sweatshirt and gloves on....and today things are finally back to normal. It was cold in the morning and when i got done eating lunch on state today with mis amigas it was snowing. And the best part of it is... it's the giant flakes, every direction, land on your eyelashes, snowglobe snow. I love Wisconsin.

    sweeeet

Christmas break has less than a week left- how in the world did that happen? It hasn't really felt like break to me, but it sure is better than classes... When i got home three weeks ago, i was greeted by my parents new house, and my new room, better known as the "guest room." After a few days of maxin 'n relaxin at the casa I hit the road, and ended up in Dayton for my first national confrence. Ok, so can i just say it rocked? Between the 80's prom night and Madison's dresses to the feeling that I felt the first time "Hey AIESEC!" was yelled and instead of the familiar "Hey what?"... "PASSION!" was the response- it was pretty amazing. Ok, so that phrase was actaully repeated about 3 million times over the week, but the fact that there were 200 incredibly motivated at passionate people in the same room who responded each time- the energy buzz'n round that room is enough to give anyone goosebumps- or at least me.

So after WSC, i spent a few days in Madison welcoming our new trainee Grace from the Philippines, and saying adios to Sara before she heads off to Hong Kong...

Looking forward to the next semester... it should be sweeeeeeeet
