Mama Tungurahua

When Wua Wua (baby) Pichincha cries, it will wake up Mama Tungurahua, and if the baby keeps on crying...it will soon wake Tati (Daddy) Cotopaxi.

This is how generation after generation has explained the eruption cycle of the major volcanoes in Ecuador.

Well the volcano Pichincha that overlooks Quito has cried, and Mama Tungurahua keeps on waking up; it's only a matter of time before The daddy of all Volcanoes wakes up PISSED and raises Hell. When it happens, and it will- he's been sleeping 150 years longer than he's supposed to, full cities will be destroyed, and ash will close down all airports in Ecuador and even shut down Bogotá, Colombia.
