supply and demand
I'm currently weighing the opportunity cost of spending the night with Helen C. studying for my econ test tomorrow. The scarcity of my time is hitting me and the opportunity cost is the sleep I'll be missing out on. The demand of this course and the supply of my knowlege aren't meeting at an equilibrium-and it's making me nervous. Hopefully, cetris peribus, the knowlege i'm gaining tonight will be of a large marginal benefit tomorrow and I'll get an A on this exam. If you have any normative responses for me- I'd be interested in hearing them- as for me: back to my cubical.

You should hope your time doesn't act like most resources that continuously accumulate: be on the lookout for continuously decreasing marginal returns, especially after 1am.
