One ski hill, and two laughs later
It's Saturday morning- scratch that- its Saturday afternoon and I remain in the clothes I wore to class yesterday. sweet. Ok so a lot went on between mi clase de espanol yesterday and now- and ya it all has left me sore, tired, and a little queezy.
So our Winter Adventure lived up to it's name last night I'm pretty sure and ya- HOW NOT TO DIE SKIING 101 should be offered at Madison I think. Being convinced to ski down one rather large and intimidating fake mountain and basically not knowing how to ski, is not always the best combo I've found. I guess you are supposed to go back and forth down large hills when you're skiing- not straight down until you lose complete control and wipe out massively and lose your skis and your polls halfway up the mountain- who woulda thought? Bunny hills are fine by me
Shout out to the cop who pulled us over in Madison for going 3 over the speedlimit. Little did he know we had just achieved our goal of making it from Milwaukee to Madison in 60 minutes.
The rest of the night pretty much sums up all that goodness you love about your friends. Sharing some laughs, some drinks, some interesting stories, some Ians, a little more good conversation, and a queen size mattress for four.
*sigh* too bad all that fun had to be accompanied by some soar muscles, a few bruises, and a kink in my neck when I woke up this morning...

I don't think "adventure" can even BEGIN to capture the insane riduculousness of the evening. but hey, you didn't even break any bones your first time out on the ski hill. that's an accomplishment, right?
oh, and on a side note, why am i not one of your amigos? :(
